How can I negotiate a new bike purchase?
I plan to buy a new bike from a dealer near my university after taking the course of MSF. Preferably, I look at a Kawasaki Vulcan LTD 500 (2007-2005ish). I decided to go with a new bike, because they are guaranteed a grant and not really worry about the wear and damage that may be hidden. I have never bought a vehicle in my life and I know things about the buying process is not any sounds to me like a madman when it comes to the day's most near - Can I negotiate the price MSRP money on the label: "If I have the standard value, I am limited to a payment plan or the concessionaire flexible (ie, must be strong with $ X $ X per month, information is variable go?), as collateral, the security-Do I get a test ride before purchase, if we feel that is asking too much, but thank you for your advice!
New or used, it is always useful to know dealer. Sellers of good distributor answer your questions, whatever their experience. Try to find a vendor that does not make you feel "inferior" because of his knowledge. Contrary to popular belief, retailers want to sell a motorcycle at a fair price. Take a tour, but keep in mind if you want a dealer who will feel more comfortable carrying cyclists to learn the ropes. New = Used Bicycle Rider. At one year, a 2.5-old low mileage bike in a shop. It will be better paid low, lower insurance payment and let you know what type of bike you want. Used motorcycles retain their value quite well. Yes, you can negotiate the price, but some manufacturers do not give the retailer a lot of space to move in the price of the new bike. Try to negotiate the price a little and to take a free helmet, gloves or a jacket. They have more freedom of movement in bicycle accessories. Check if you qualify for dealer financing. Credit Unions are also a good bet. You will need a little money independently. The warranty is almost the same for all manufactueres on new bikes. Do not put a test ride before you buy if you have a valid license, but ... If you meet someone at the dealership, they may as you take a few used bicycles outside. It does not hurt to ask. Good luck! Do not be afraid of the bike!
