Using a smoker box on your grill is a great way to give your small meals a grand total, the smoky taste. You can find in all sizes and prices. Perfect for smoking fish, steak, ribs, chicken and more! I recently had one and it was easier to obtain This smoky flavor meals at very low use my heavy smoker. Of course, if I had a great working kitchen, I would choose to use the smoker, but for small kitchen tasks, you may find that using a smoker box is a great way to go.
To use the smoking area, a bag of wood chips as chips or walnut Mesquite (not use pieces)
* Soak wood chips in about 20 minutes. (or a whole day.)
* With the lid open or off and fill the box with wood chips.
* Place on smoker box the tops of rocks or briquettes on one side of the grid.
* Turn your grill as you would normally.
* When the smoke is starting the cooking process.
* The smoke for about 15-20 minutes and will improve the flavor of your favorite dish.
* Before returning to use any box, remove all waste in the box, stuffed with fresh and reuse.
TIP: What can I do with my box smoking is that I go ahead and start cooking the meat as usual, making sure to brown the meat before the picture begins to smoking. Once the box begins to smoke, I turned down or off the side of the grid in front of the smoking area and transfer of all meat on that side. (across from the smoking area) Meat must already burned and almost done now, and now are mostly just a taste of the meat with smoke the smoking area.
Different wood chips used for smoking:
Hickory Wood is a great goal, especially recommended for all cuts pork and chicken.
Apple is exceptionally good for fish and poultry. The green wood, the sweet taste of smoke is provided.
Woods other fruits such as cherry, blackberry, pear and peach are good for fish and poultry, including lost wild.
The vine is also good for fish and poultry, including lost wild.
Pecan wood is another good all effects, recommended for all cuts of pork.
Use khaki with beef or pork. It is also good for wild game.
The bark, roots and pieces Sassafras wood is good for the smoke flavor in fish and poultry.
