Why not the big three (GM, Ford, Chrysler) to sell a diesel car in the U.S.?
Not able to build vehicles Clean diesel, or "Is that the big three are married to big oil? I always hear with all the great cars that are sold only in Europe. It makes me crazy and keeps me from buying their product. Diesel is more expensive? Currently in most U.S. diesel is cheaper than premium fuel. But we are forced to buy petrol cars because of the options available.
I'm for diesel. I would buy a diesel .. anyday a "hybrid" Yes diesel is a bit more expensive, but the power and economy weigh on the price .. Sell VW TDI / Diesel versions its U.S. cars that all mileage is great. The new Jetta TDI, when driven economically can get 50-55 + MPG. If I additional money would be my next car or a VW TDI diesel car in America, if they ever sold here.
