Is it possible to make a cable connection is more secure?
is widely belived that the cable Internet connection is less secure as ADSL, because it is always enabled. it may be safer if you remove the cable when not using your PC.
Both are still, however if you are so interested in security, then I recco of the following (use only one, most have no way!): 1) Remove the LAN cable from your router / modem. 2) Turn off the router / modem. 3) Disconnect the cable from the router / modem and the computer when not in use. Also, do not let your computer when not using - now hackers can access your router (rather unnecessary), but not his team, which is not selected. If I helped please vote "best answer"!
