What is the proper way to choose a speaker and amplifier combination?
I'm creating a high resolution on a boat and need a LeSon when buying expensive items correctly. What is the difference between 2 and 4 ohm? And the maximum power and power RMS of the speakers? What is the difference between maximum power and Watts RMS into an amplifier? What happens to the power amplifier if I stay 8 4 ohm speakers in a 4 channel amplifier?
Dustin nailed good for you. But you can run eight speakers at 4 ohms on a 4-channel amplifier in measurement of 2-ohm stable. It would be better to operate four speakers or run two 4-channel Amp though.
